[clothes] dryer (mine is on its last leggs....and I mean its more than 20 years old and the nobs are broken etc...but it still works like a charm

living in japan
(they dont believe in clothes dryers either, and well they dont really have closets for their clothing either....they just wash them and hang them on their balcony---come rain, shine or SNOW even typhoons....when they need a clean shirt they go to the balcony and get one....and their laundry detergent leaves your clothing almost able to stand on its own---it doesnt wash out very well in COLD water as COLD is the ONLY temp you can get for washing machines that are, yes, also on your balcony )
